Extragalactic Astrophysics




I was born (on April 16, 1964) in a small vilige Trnjani located in the region of   Doboj  city in Republica of Serpska (Bosnia and Hercegovina), since 1984 I am living in Belgrade

I finished BSc in 1988, MSc in 1991, and PhD in 1994. First I was working at Popular astronomical observatory and Planetarium of AS 'Rudjer Boskovic' (1989-1992). Since 1992 I am working at Astronomical Observatory in Belgrade (AOB)
Since 2001 I am teaching PhD students of astrophysics at Faculty of Mathematics (Belgrade University, see Department of Astronomy) and from 2006 BSc students of physics at Faculty of Science, University of Banja Luka.


Scientific subjects:

1. Active Galactic Nuclei (investigation of physical and kinematical properties of AGN center- see e.g.
Fe II in AGNs )
2. Gravitational lenses (Influence of lensing to the QSO spectra) MLE
3. Stark Broadening (Calculation the collisional parameters in stellar atmospheres, see e.g. Nd II in stellar atmospheres)
4. Gamma Ray Burst (Modeling the mechanism for creation of gamma ray bursts)
